Health Benefits of a Vegan Diet

Veganism is the practice of abstaining from eating animal products including meat, dairy, and eggs. It refuses to give animals, a commodity status. A vegan diet, when followed correctly, can be extremely nutrient-dense, lower one's chance of developing chronic diseases, and assist one in losing weight. Preliminary studies show that the diet can improve cardiovascular health; protect against cancer; and reduce the incidence of type 2 diabetes.
