As dynamic and controversial as the idea behind the concept of wellness is, having healthy well-being is not that debatable. For you, it might center around maintaining a healthy lifestyle or clean eating, I draw it to joy and mental well-being.
Although the wellness regime could be quite personalized for each one of us. A simple idea behind the glitter is all of us are here to better ourselves. It is our appetite for enduring a wellness regime that celebrates your mind and body.
What most of us fail to understand is that health and wellness is a very personal journey every individual needs to custom fit for themselves. Although, how does one practice it when all our fears and hopes are shared with millions on the internet?
All of us face numerous transitions and emotional turmoil daily. Be it the uncertainty of a person or place, self-doubt, rollercoaster of a career path, different opinions of loved ones, or social belonging. No matter what the story, wellness has become an elemental regime for an everyday battle.
In my endeavor to disrupt the destructive patterns and avoid being constantly agitated by the happening around me, I realized that being at peace with myself did not require a lot. Just a few conscious choices.
I'm sure you aren't amongst one those that have saturated their experimental parameters to create a healthy lifestyle.
It is quite instinctive for all of us to ignore our emotions and try to detract from them through music and getting caught up in the hustle. Temporarily it is working out for you. Although, You and I have just been creating a subconscious dumb for us to deal with later. Only till a point when we can't take it anymore.
We’ve all heard of the phrase ‘One bite at a time. How many of us adapt that with each negative thought our mind has to offer. Being ignorant about your emotions is not strength. Strength comes from embracing yourself completely.
I only ask you to write them down because a piece of paper concretizes the bridge between your thoughts and reality. DO NOT LEAVE OUT ANYTHING. Nobody is judging what you've scribbled on that piece of paper. It is your little bubble that you don't have to share with anyone. Be as extravagant and brutal as you can. Ramble and pour through your soul like a long-lost best friend; a friend you only find in yourself.
Once you've rambled your thoughts out on paper, hold it as close to yourself as you can, and now imagine all that you would do differently. Envision that the genie gave you a wish to do things differently this time. The life you wish, the things you said, the work you invested in, the friends you made, and the appreciation you give very well deserve.
Now that you have already envisioned what your dream life would look like, how about we try and encompass it for a few days. Let's try to incorporate a 6-day fairyland. Be it a 15-minute meditation, a one-hour outing with a friend, going for a walk, or spending those extra few minutes with your loved ones. Incorporate that dream life into your mundane routine for just a brief window to experience what that life would feel like. A dreamland can not be that difficult, can it?
It's okay if you break out of the routine. There is only so much you can do in a day. Adjust your routine to best fit your soul requirements. Don't beat yourself over a fixed routine you created but couldn't follow because of prior commitments.
A week of emotional overload is enough for starters. Over the weekend, sit with yourself or a person you can give into and share your experience. What did you live through and what changes you would like to make if that week looked like the rest of your life. For any blunders that the experiment made you face, go through them over your Damage Control day to make any alterations you would like.
We have evolved as more conscious spirits that want to be mindful of their mind, body, and overall wellbeing. Getting out of the cluster and pausing for a moment to gather our thoughts. Being stranded through the chaos is not the most advisable situation to find yourself in so let yourself loose. Try doing it yourself this time. Try doing it for yourself this time.
The above ways to wellness are not a roadmap, just a mere experience that helped me acknowledge my thoughts and situations better. It may not be the most ideal or effective way to make yourself a wellness getaway. Although I would highly recommend experimenting with it once.
Breaking away from our normal pattern once in a while is never a bad thing, is it?
